The Punt Road Pinot Noir was sourced from the Napoleone's low-yielding vineyards in Coldstream. This is an outstanding vineyard with the older blocks producing excellent depth of flavour. A great growing season with wines achieving fantastic flavour development, ripeness without excessive alcohols, and beautifully balanced natural acidity.Dark cherry and cardamom dominate the nose, backed by aromas of Middle Eastern spices, musk, and a lovely floral edge. Lush velvet tannins fill the palate while bright crunchy acidity lends focus to the elegant flavours of cinnamon and star anise.
